Trips to the H Mart, BAPS and IKEA

Today’s Northern Georgia journey consisted of trips to the H Mart in Duluth, the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Lilburn and good ole IKEA in Atlanta!

Here are some of the dishes we feasted upon at the Asian Market…and brought home for later consumption…

Seafood Pho

Spicy Korean Soup

Imperial Chinese Dumplings

Seaweed Salad

All I’ve got to say is that is the best damn Asian cafeteria I have ever been to! Always consistent. Always reasonably priced. So with full bellies and red pepper stains on our chins we drove down the road to the BAPS Temple in Lilburn to enjoy once again the beautifully handcarved building and it’s incredible inner ceilings and columns. Unfortunately you are not allowed to shoot the inside so I guess ya’ll with just have to check it out yourselves. Trust me…the intricate designs cut into the stone are breathtaking. Here’s the outside….

Last But Not Least….

Next up was our favorite furniture/home products place…IKEA! Build it yourself furniture galore! Shame we don’t have one in Louisiana cause we could totally spend hours walking around, planning out our future house and eating the best Swedish meatballs ever! Always a crowd pleaser! Well now we are home watching some Harry Potter wishing that tomorrow wasn’t our last day in GA… As soon as I’m done with school I promise you that we will return to this wonderful part of the country…permanently!
