French Quarter Saturdays

This past Saturday we took a family trip to the French Quarter. Chloe had never ridden a street car and we figured it was high time she took the long, bumpy ride. Though the temps were around the upper eighties…it was still hot enough to make it uncomfortable to walk in direct sunlight. So we quickly jumped on a car and rode down St Charles admiring the beautiful houses and ancient oaks. At the end of the line we were dropped off at Canal and did the usual tour around the Quarter. We hit Royal to have a look inside the countless art galleries, walked inside the St Louis Cathedral and picked up some trinkets at the French Market. Pralines, Bloody Marys and muffalettas….. What more could you ask for? While there I was sure to take a few photos and decided afterwards that it would be cool to try something different when editing. Went for a vintage look in the images. Here they are!
