A Day in North GA

Minnehaha Falls, Rabun County, Georgia

Here in GA…on vacay…I took Steph out on some waterfall adventuring. No boiled peanuts. No rootbeer. We had already eaten like crap all week and were in desperate need of some good calorie burning hiking! And yes. We got it. Between 11am and 330pm we managed to hit 4 different waterfalls! Warwoman Dell falls, Becky Branch Falls, Martins Creek Falls and Minnehaha Falls. Originally we planned on hiking to Ammons and Holcomb falls but a wonderful friendly hiker…another waterfall enthusiast…gave us a report on the trail’s condition and convinced us that we needed a new destination. Amazing how you meet such awesome people on the open trail… All in all it worked out! We got our exercise, some fresh mountain air and then capped it all off with a healthy meal of sushi from Buford’s Kani House. I will post more tomorrow after our walk at Piedmont Park. But for now here are some of the images from today’s journey!

  1. They look good. You won’t give me the location by chance?
